Taught by Irving TA Kayla Norwood
Students will explore a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, and more. Throughout the term, students will learn basic dance terminology, techniques, and the history and cultural significance behind different styles of dance.
As the term progresses, students will have the opportunity to develop their creativity through student choreography. With guidance from peers and instructors, students will create their own choreography using movements and techniques learned throughout the term. This club encourages creativity, teamwork, confidence, and self-expression.
